Therapy Job Opportunities in St. Louis, MO
We’re HIRING at our Ballwin and Lake St. Louis Therapy Office Locations!
At Marble Wellness, you’re not just filling a caseload—you’re building a life that actually works for you. You’ll join a team that understands the mental load our clients carry, and the one you carry as a clinician, parent, partner, and/or young professional. We value flexibility, honest conversations, and the kind of support that doesn’t end when the session does.

If you’re a therapist who loves the work—but not the admin overload—you’re in the right place.
We are currently accepting applications for therapists to add to our already awesome team. Below are our current openings at Marble Wellness. If you’re excited, energized, and already mentally drafting your cover letter, you’re probably in the right place.
Lake St. Louis, MO Couples Therapist (Full Time)
You’re a couples therapist who loves helping partners find their way back to each other. You’re comfortable in the “real life” moments—busy schedules, parenting stress, and the quiet stuff nobody posts about.
In this role as a full-time therapist, you will:
- Provide couples therapy to clients in our Lake St. Louis office (and virtually, when needed)
- Work with motivated couples who want to communicate better, rebuild connection, and navigate big life transitions
- Collaborate with a supportive, upbeat team that cares about your growth as much as your clinical skills
Your Training & Therapy Approach:
- Preference for clinicians trained in EFT or Gottman
- Love the work, but don’t have advanced training yet? We’re happy to invest in you by paying for advanced training upon hire.
Your Schedule as a Full-Time Therapist:
- Offer at least 27 hours of availability each week, including at least two evenings per week until 7 p.m. or a weekend block (may start with a more limited schedule as your caseload grows)
Ballwin, MO Couples Therapist (Full Time)
You’re a couples therapist who also lights up when you get to go deeper in a specialty area. You enjoy working with clients who want change and are ready to put in the work.
In this role as a full-time therapist, you will:
- Provide couples therapy in our Ballwin office (and virtually, when needed)
- Work with high‑functioning, overwhelmed clients who value therapy and show up ready to do the work
- Be part of a fun, collaborative, and growth‑oriented team
Your Training & Therapy Approach:
- Preference for EFT or Gottman training
- We’re willing to pay for advanced training for the right fit
- You bring at least one of these specialties:
- Maternal mental health
- Teens and young adults
- Veterans and military members
Your Schedule as a Full-Time Therapist:
- Offer at least 27 hours of availability each week, including at least two evenings per week until 7 p.m. or a weekend block (may start with a more limited schedule as your caseload grows)
Masters‑Level Counseling Intern
For 2 Subsequent Semesters: Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
You’re in a counseling master’s program and ready to move beyond the textbook into real‑life therapy with real‑life people in West County, MO. You’re eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow in a private practice that serves busy moms, parents, and young adults in the greater St. Louis area.
Important note: This is an internship placement for two concurrent semesters (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027). It is for an internship only, not a practicum.
As a Counseling Intern, You Will:
- Provide therapy to clients under supervision, focusing on Marble Wellness therapy specialties
- Build and maintain a weekly caseload of approximately 8–10 client sessions
- Manage your own scheduling within our systems
- Complete clinical documentation and maintain files in a timely, organized way
- Participate in weekly individual supervision
- Join quarterly trainings on a variety of clinical and professional topics
What your schedule as a counseling intern looks like:
- 10–12 hours per week total
- Approximately 8–10 of those hours will be direct client sessions
- The remaining internship hours are for supervision, training, and occasional meetings
- Ability to commit to at least 1 evening per week
- Attend monthly staff meetings when school and work schedules allow
This rhythm reflects typical expectations in strong counseling internships—enough volume to learn and grow, without tipping you into burnout while you’re still in school.
What we offer you as a counseling intern:
At Marble Wellness, the internship experience is designed to feel supportive, structured, and human. You’ll receive:
- Weekly supervision focused on skill‑building, confidence, and self‑of‑the‑therapist work
- Quarterly trainings to expand your toolkit and help you find your clinical “voice.”
- Experience in a self‑pay private practice that offers in‑person sessions, telehealth, and walk‑and‑talk therapy in the St. Louis area
- An environment that prioritizes work‑life balance, mutual respect, collaboration, and trust
You won’t be “just the intern.” You’ll be a valued part of the team, with real responsibility and real support.
What we’re looking for in an intern:
We’re looking for someone who is excited about growing in a private practice setting and interested in our core specialties and population. You might be a great fit if you:
- Are currently enrolled in a master’s program and actively working toward a counseling degree
- Are committed to building and maintaining a weekly caseload of 8–10 clinical sessions
- Can manage your time, schedule, and basic tasks with maturity and follow‑through
- Are able to commit to at least one evening per week
- Enjoy being part of a team and value collaboration, connection, and shared learning
- Want space to be creative in your work—trying interventions, reflecting with your supervisor, and finding what fits your style
Expectations of counseling interns include:
- Providing therapy to your clients with care, ethics, and professionalism
- Maintaining clinical files and documentation on time
- Attending supervision and staff meetings as necessary
This is an exciting opportunity for a counseling intern who wants dynamic growth, a solid caseload, and a chance to learn what life in a healthy, well‑run private practice can actually look like.
At Marble Wellness, our therapists only focus on therapy and basic documentation. That’s it. No chasing insurance claims, no drowning in endless paperwork, and no unnecessary meetings. Our dedicated admin team takes care of everything else so you can do what you love. This job is right for you if you’re craving space to do the thing you actually love: therapy.
Right now, you might be:
- At a private practice that doesn’t keep your caseload full
- At a private practice that expects way too many sessions a week
- At a nonprofit that has you grinding and burned out
- Fresh from graduate school and eager to finally do the work you’ve trained for
You’re ready to spend your energy where it matters: doing therapy that changes lives.
What You’ll Love About Marble Wellness:
We want you to have a rich opportunity to grow as a clinician and as a person.
- Compensation with room to grow:
- Session rate range of approximately $45–$85 per session, with an annual earning potential of $52,000–$100,000+, depending on background, hours, and caseload.
