Hi, I’m Heidi! I am a full-time, fully licensed therapist at Marble Wellness with over ten years of experience in the therapy world.

My Education and Professional Background

I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from McKendree University in 2006. I then received my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from McKendree University in 2010. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri.

I have training in trauma and approach clients through a trauma lens. My background is working with clients in the office, in-home and school settings. I have experience providing therapy to children, youth, adults and families. I also enjoy walking in the park with clients on nice days.

How I Like to Work in Therapy

Therapy is a chance for you to spend one hour talking and processing what you need to, without interruption or judgement. Therapy is a safe place to speak and be heard. To share stories, to process trauma, to find peace.

I find great honor in clients choosing to let me walk beside them in their therapeutic journey.

In our time together, we will create goals and work on skills to reach these goals. We will process the strengths you have and the vulnerability it takes to talk about the hard things. I believe in laughter during therapy. I also believe in challenging clients and pointing out progress being made.

Advanced or Relevant Training

  • Trauma Training
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Birth Trauma
  • PSI International 2-Day Training on Postpartum and Maternal Mental Health
